On August 12, 2026, the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology (IPBB) was visited by Dr. Peter Liebelt, Head of the Representative Office of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) in Kazakhstan and Head of the Central Asian Sustainable Innovation Bureau (CASIB). Dr. Liebelt also serves as a representative of the German Research Foundation (DFG) for cooperation with the scientific community
