On April 11, a festive event dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz and Science Day took place.
The laboratories of the Institute, the trade union, the Council of Young Scientists and the administration actively participated in the celebration.
Kabyl Zhambakin, Director General of the Institute, as well as the heads of the laboratories, congratulated the team, noting the scientific achievements of the staff.
Congratulations were sent by the Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics, Professor Yerlan Kenesbekovich Turuspekov on being awarded the Order of «Kurmet», as well as young scientists who were allocated apartments by the decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan: A. Taskuzhina, A. Kapytina, K. Bakhytuly.
The Council of Young Scientists and the trade union organized various exciting contests and competitions, and the winners of the Spartakiad between the staff of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology and the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction, held earlier and timed to coincide with Science Day, were awarded during the event.
