A delegation from the Institute of Western Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), People’s Republic of China made an official visit to the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology led by Liu Zhenhu, Deputy Director of the Institute on June 9, 2025. The delegation included Yan Ping, Zhang Zehua, Wang Lizhong, Zhu Jing, and Wang Yan. Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between IPBB and the Institute of Western Agriculture. The purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen cooperation and establish partnership in science and higher education. It is assumed that cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum will be carried out through mutual cooperation in future joint projects, training of scientific personnel in doctoral and master’s programs, exchange of scientific information and best practices, participation in conferences, forums, consultations, seminars, symposiums, round tables and other events.
