On 23 September 2026, the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology welcomed a delegation from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), headed by Professor Kamal bin Yusoh.
The parties discussed industrial placements and research internships for Malaysian students enrolled in the dual-degree programme at KazNARU. The guests toured the Institute’s laboratories and learned about its research infrastructure, modern equipment, and student training opportunities.
